REVIEW: PHILIPS SONICARE TOOTHBRUSH FOR KIDS
Ahead of Oral Health Day, the lovely ladies at Philips sent my son a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush. It was during school holidays so it was delivered directly to him at his granny’s house. I immediately received a video call expressing his excitement to have received the toothbrush.
He initially loved the beautiful box and blue and white design. He then loved the fact that in the box were stickers that came with fun interchangeable K3 stickers for customization of his toothbrush. And of course, he loved that his new toothbrush was electric.
The Philips Sonicare for Kids is an electric power toothbrush for kids aged 4 and older. It offers maximum plaque removal, sonic technology, customizable stickers and educational tools to help make proper brushing fun.
Why is it so amazing? If the above hasn’t explained this, then let me tell you more about the specs.

I’m excited about my boy’s oral health since receiving this toothbrush as it’s said to remove up to 75% more plaque than manual toothbrushes. And I have already seen the difference in his teeth, which are whiter already. Thanks, Philips!
My issue with electronic products is the battery life, and I’m happy that the Sonicare battery lasts for up to three weeks. Mpilo has only had to charge it once since he received the toothbrush – which is great. The Philips Sonicare toothbrush for kids retails for about R460 on Takealot. Moms can also purchase the brushing heads for just under R200.
